After 12 unforgettable years, Mission Driven Goods will officially close on December 31st.

Even writing those words doesn’t feel real.

Mission Driven has been more than a brand—it’s been my foundation, my purpose, and the reason I’ve been able to spend the last decade fighting for animals across Kansas City. It opened doors I never imagined, connected me with lifelong friends, and built a community that showed up for every rescue, every story, every heartbreak, and every victory.

Before Covid, Mission Driven Goods was thriving. Practically overnight, everything changed. We lost 80% of the retail stores that carried our clothing. The 30 annual outdoor events we counted on disappeared. For the past three years, I’ve fought with everything in me to keep this dream alive—working without a paycheck since 2023 and pouring my heart into every decision. As hard as it is to say…it’s time to close this chapter.

But here’s what I want you to know:

I am not leaving animal rescue.

I’m simply transitioning.

The mission that started all of this still drives me—just in a new way. I’ll be focusing more of my time and energy on:

This isn’t an ending—it’s an evolution of the mission you helped build.

As I look back, I choose celebration over sadness. The road trips, the summer pop-ups, the rescues, the conversations, and every person who lined up just to help us save one more life… those memories will stay with me forever. And none of it would have been possible without YOU.
